New Releases and Recommendations for April 13

  • Melancholia- Justine (Kirsten Dunst) and Michael (Alexander Skarsgård) celebrate their marriage as a planet careens toward Earth in this apocalyptic psychodrama (2011)
  • The Conspirator- Mary Surratt is the lone female charged as a co-conspirator in the assassination trial of Abraham Lincoln. As the whole nation turns against her, she is forced to rely on her reluctant lawyer to uncover the truth and save her life (2011)
  • Risky Business- A pair of briefs, a Bob Seeger tune and some passionate lip-syncing catapulted Tom Cruise to stardom in this classic teen comedy (1983)

  • The Office: Welcome Party- As Erin and Andy plot how he should break up with Jessica, Robert California orders the office to throw a welcome party for Nellie (2012)
  • Modern Family: Election Day- On Election Day, the family does some last-minute campaigning for Claire (2012)
  • Community: Origins of Vampire Mythology- When Britta’s old flame Blade returns to town with the traveling carnival, the group goes to elaborate lengths to keep Britta away from him (2012)

  • The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus- An extraordinary traveling show gives unsuspecting audience members much more than they bargain for (2009)
  • Stranger Than Fiction- Will Farrell stars as an IRS auditor who suddenly finds himself the subject of narration only he can hear (2006)
  • The Three Stooges- Popular favorites and cult classics including all the slapstick, sight gags, and spot-on spoofs you’d expect from Larry, Curly and Moe (1941)
