Like the Roku but the only problem I have is I signed up for Amazon Instant Video to find out I couldn’t get it as we don’t live in the US which came up on the screen, we live in American Samoa which is an American Territory. It was a big disappointment as Amazon had more updated movies.

If you can find someone to help you… i have a son the is out of the US mainland and uses a proxy service for his Roku to identify itself as being in the US mainland. Your router would have to identify the Roku box and forward it to the proxy service. Its beyond the scope of a reply to figure out how to do it.. but I know it can be done.

You may want to add the channel, if you are a US citizen living abroad it will give you free access to live TV on your ROKU

Thank you for this new release list –I would recommend and ask that you do it each week on friday like this —I love my Roku and believe you will eventually run a lot of cable companies and satellite companies out of business or at least get them to lower prices instead of keep trying to rob the american public. i certainly am appreciative of your new alternative.

I bought Roku because it puts Crackle on my tv. However the movies will stop playing and not load. I am missing out on so much! Please fix the problem or tell me if there is something I can do?

Can I watch any of the shows that are on the Discovery Channel with the Roku

    • I have seen Deadliest Catch on Netflix through my Roku, I love documentaries and can get most of the ones I watch on cable through either Netflix or Hulu Plus.

  • O21putt_2000

Can we get closed caption on movies?

  • Lainvisible

“Man on Wire” shows at Netflix as a DVD only feature. Are the titles listed soon-to-be-released? Maybe it was a fluke?

I love my Ruku and I have cancelled my cable about a month ago. I got a bill for a full month at 197 vr the 67 I should be paying for super high speed and land line. They are trying to pull something because the lady really wanted to keep me on cable. Is there any way to watch the superbowl. I live in a canyon and can get zero tv reception and the closes channel is in LA and that is 60 miles away. I made a commercial for the superbowl contest but didnt win. Check it out-
