Directed by Dave Grohl, the movie is a love letter to an iconic recording studio in California, where things like Nirvana’s Nevermind was recorded. Look out for cameos from the likes of Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, Rick Springfield, and Lars Ulrich, among others.

The Last Waltz (Tubi TV)

Directed by Martin Scorsese, it’s been hailed as one of the greatest concert films ever made. The Band’s 1976 farewell concert includes Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, and Muddy Waters.

Hendrix on Hendrix (Snag Films, Big Star Movies)

Leon Hendrix, brother of musician Jimi Hendrix, discusses the private side of Jim’s life and family issues, in contrast with the legendary status Jimi ascended to in the public eye.
